Our Approach

The Project Brief was to design a multi - dwelling house in a plot size of 25’x40’. The program demanded by the client was to have 2 - 2BHK units to be rented out and wanted a 3BHK house with a home theatre for himself.

In Bengaluru’s urban context, due to the ever-rising demand in real estate and the increasing demands in terms of the program from the client, there is no option but to rise vertically.

The challenge arises when you have a tightly packed neighborhood with minimal setbacks, and landlocked on sides. We had to get in light and ventilation from the road alone which does not suffice to provide ample light across the depth of the site. Hence indirect lighting from skylights, large openings facing the road and use of vertical fins to encompass the external staircase were used
