Our Approach

The Client owned a 1200 sft plot in Banashankari in a residential neighborhood flanked on buildings on either sides of the plot and a road which terminated into the building on the rear end, forming a dead-end road. The program was to design a 4 BHK independent house for the client, to also accommodate a home theater and a home office. The spatial organization for the project is done in a way to accommodate the parking and home office on the stilt floor, The first floor has the Living - Dining - Kitchen and a guest bedroom. The second floor is occupied by 2 large bedrooms with walk in wardrobes, and the terrace floor is occupied by a home theater, a bedroom and a landscaped garden feature. We used cubes as an expression for the facade and played around by pushing - pulling these cubes to form an interesting elevation. The facade is kept simple and contemporary, with predominant use of whites, greys, and a bit of wood.
